Held from September 9 to 12, 2026 in Ningbo, Zhejiang, the 7th National Steelmaking Plant Managers Forum gathered plant managers, process leaders and refining experts from steelmakers across China under the theme of "Green, Low-Carbon and Cost-Efficient Steelmaking". Organized by the Steelmaking Branch of the Chinese Society for Metals and co-organized by the Central Iron & Steel Research Institute, Hangzhou Iron & Steel Group and Ningbo Steel, the forum invited Mianrui to exchange on the digital and intelligent upgrading of steelmaking operations.

At the forum, Mianrui highlighted its EMMA-ID product line for metallurgical high-temperature scenarios — SHT series micro-acoustic tags, radar readers and high-temperature antennas — together with EMMA-ID based ladle tracking and smart dispatch solutions. By giving ladles and hot-metal vessels a unique electronic identity, the solution enables full life-cycle tracking from steelmaking and continuous casting to turnover and maintenance, helping plants keep track of vessel fleets, optimize scheduling, cut baking energy consumption and reduce safety risks such as breakouts.
During the forum, Mianrui reached initial cooperation intentions with steel enterprises and design institutes. Building on over 20 years of Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) research, the company will keep advancing high-temperature container identification and metallurgical intelligence, supporting the green and digital transformation of the global metals industry.
